3 on the road at Aberdare ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Dinas travelled away again this week to Aberdare Town in another must win game for the red and black men.

A win today could see them them climb 2 places to 10th in the league.🤩

The first half saw an even contest with the opening score of the game after 30 minutes. Reuben Bryl intercepted an Aberdare pass and proceeded to wrong foot the keeper, calmly passing the ball into the back of the net. However the Villagers were not done and 10 minutes later Rhys Palmer beat the offside trap and crossed for Aiden Perret to make it 2-nil.

The second half saw Aberdare come out firing. This renewed vigour led to some really exciting end-to-end football with Dinas countering well. Dinas were awarded a second half penalty – up stepped Gaz Emanuel who slotted home to made it 3-nil. The Dinas defence dug deep to keep the persistent Aberdare Town out and held on to another clean sheet.

Dinas play at home next week against West End for a 2:00pm kick off at the Murch.

Dinas are one of two teams to have played 25 games this season with some teams only managing to have played 12. This scenario will see the tables change dramatically during the tail end of the season.
