The red and black men travelled away to AFC Llwydcoed today in search of some more points to add to their recent haul.
The first half started brightly for Rhodri’s men with the first clear cut chance falling to Dinas after only 10 minutes. Sadly the chance saw the shot go wide of the target. AFC Llwydcoed took this warning shot and kicked on proving difficult to break down. The home team gained in confidence and after some neat play broke the deadlock just before halftime 1- nil to AFC Llwydcoed.
The second half saw much of the same play with the home team cleverly breaking up and stalling any Dinas momentum. The frustration built and in the desperate hunt for an equaliser Dinas saw the home team double their lead 😭. This sapped the Rooks usual 2nd half energy and, coupled with the home team’s determined defending, saw the game finish 2-nil to AFC Llwydcoed.
