The village of Dinas Powys, located in the Vale of Glamorgan, four miles west of Cardiff, is home to Dinas Powys Football Club, formed in 1971. Now one of the largest clubs in South Wales, it has nearly 500 members and provides football for all age groups, including girls, boys, and men, with weekly games for up to 20 junior teams from mini (U6s) to youth (U18s).
Dinas Powys have drawn a tough home game against Guilsfield in the 3rd round of the Welsh Cup.
